I was thinking the same russ.
its two years old and done 60k......
its due to the engine burning oil but if people would learn how to drive a diesel then most of the carbon build up wouldnt be their........
as is using the whole rev range and not changing up at 2000rpm!!!!doughnuts!!not good for any diesel engines...

yip correct..if you dont the engine may not start due to the valves not making an air tight seal so the engine will have no compression..
the piston rings are on back order so i wont get them till monday and i cant order the head gasket till i've got the rings and i put the pistons and the crank in the block.you have to mesure how far the piston comes out of the boar so you can get the right thickness of gasket(their is 10 to choose from)....
