Fog light replacement
Fog light replacement
Thanks mate, I'm guessing it'll be pretty straight forward once the arch liner's off? Job for the weekend I think
Bandit Not sure mate, the only thing that usually happens is that the bulb holder ring corrodes, which makes the bulb go very loose? apart from the bulb and wiring connector that's pretty much all the bits that can go wrong on the front fogs?

Oh and remember that there are 2 types of connection for the fogs when you are buying replacements from ebay, at a guess i think they changed then 2003 onwards.....i had to cut the connecters of mine and solder the new ones on!
Here we go.....
Revised fog light with plastic cap covering bulb to prevent corrosion and new connectors

Cheers Shahz, so the bulb is likely to have corroded within the fog light housing, and that's why the whole lot needs to be replaced?
Cool, I'll try to make sure to get the same as what I've got so it's all plug and play

SHAHZ From what i remember mate thats the case, either that or it was a case of the unit falling apart when bulb was removed, but it was over 5 years ago now so cant remember exactly what happened.
You'll need to unclip the inner arch and pull it forward (obviously with the wheel on full lock) to remove it and there are a few bolts on the front you undo with a socket through the gap next to the light:thumbup1:
