Wireless router in cupboard
Basically as title suggests, can you put a wireless router in a cupboard (non-metallic of course) or is it not a good idea?

no problems at all doing it mate, it might reduce your signal strength due to it being enclosed.

supose it would reduce the signal strength as much as it would when going throught walls and doors, just another 'wall' to go through......suppose the best way to find out is to try it!!

exactly as shahz says signal strength is dependant on distance, how good the router is, thickness of walls, how good computer wireless adapter is etc etc best thing to do is try it

It'll probably be fine, give it a try and the guys have said.
Cool, I guess it isn't too hard to chuck it in a cupboard and see what happens........

Just make sure it doesn't end up overheating in the cupboard, e.g. when (if ?) we get some really warm weather again.
