There's a big fire (and consequently now a rather large flood) in a central BT node in Paddington, which is affecting broadband connectivity in 437 exchanges throughout the country (approximately 37,500 customers).
Suprisingly this includes exchanges up to 100 miles north of London hock:

toxo The list I have and the list Ed has posted differ somewhat, my list doesn't have any of the 4 Milton Keynes exchanges on it but Ed's list has 01908 on... I've no idea which is right!
they probably listed everyone who's likely to have problems just to cover themselves and get less complaints

If anyone is having problem I'd reboot the router once and hour untill it comes back.

From the techy grapevine we hear that BT may not be able to get into the exchange for a couple of days becuase of Health & Safety concerns. Luckily our clients tend to be Charities so they are quite patient and understanding.
If anyone is having problem I'd reboot the router once and hour untill it comes back.
