Aargh, how annoying. I'm sure it'll get sorted as good as new for you soon though. That road is very near where I live !

Was on the phone within minutes of getting home from work 2day as the insurance company said the garage would be in touch to collect my car. Well they have until end of work tomorrow and if the situation is still the same a few french words will start to come out of my mouth on the phone as the insurance company have given me the garage number.

stevie. i've been up and down that road so many times on 2 and 4 wheels and never even had a near miss, but hay im still trying to work out women let alone when there in a car

Jeff, remember that it's up to you which garage you use to repair your car. The insurance company can't tell you where to have it done (despite what they might try and imply), you can get quotes from wherever you want and send them to the insurance company for approval - it might just be one quote, you don't have to get several. So make sure you're happy that you know the garage can do a good job.

Apologies if you know all this already, but the information might be useful for others (it's commonly misunderstood).
