Hi guys,

Just had the car serviced and the timing belt replaced

Now I'm no mechanic (heck, I don't even know if the belt in the picture IS the timing belt or not) but I stuck my head under the bonnet today to try and fit the HIDs I bought off Ed last month, and saw this...

Now it looks like the belt isn't on correctly? I'd have thought it should sit fully on the cog/pulley/thingy but appears to not be doing so?

Question 1 - Does this look right?
Question 2 - Am I ok driving like this?
Question 3 - Can someone explain exactly how I fit the darn HIDS - I must be a numpty cos everyone else can do it just fine! :cursing: Can't find a walkthrough or instructions either... :blushing:

Thanks in advance for any help!

Cheers - worried it might not have been proper tight if I had to try and push/slip it onto the wheel properly, in case it started slipping or something...

I'll go back out and see if I can get it on right then...
