Also how can i tell how much life is left on the disks? There is a lip on the edge, and im guessing they are the disks from new now on 75k miles??

Anyone know where i can buy these (in a shop) need to buy them and fit them tomorrow???

Halfords do pads for the lex mate, but not sure if they stock Mintex? if the disc's have quite a big lip then i'd say they would be worth changing? but if the lips not too bad and your brakes are working fine then just do the pads :thumbup1:

I thought of halfords but dont thing they stock them will drop them a call in the morning, what would you say is a big lip mate, ive just had a look and id say its no more than a couple of mm and not that close to the wear indicator. I did notice that the surface is not completely flat and it rises only very very slightly in the middle of the disk on both sides, could just be how the pads bedded......might just have to get some oem ones if i cant get any mintex
