been meaning to do this for a while......help horrible noise after fitting rear disks.......my advise push the backing plates out the way.........try'd that not working.....theirs two backing plates............
heres some pics of what i mean and what to do.....
firstly remove the disk and you will see the inner backing plate you will see parts of this that are polished this is the part thats causing the noise...
now take a hammer and hammer the polished part
now check to see its pushed back far enough...
check by putting the disk back on and listning for scrubbing job done...
and for those who want to adjust the handbrake but dont know how remove the wee rubber bung and look for this wee adjuster wheel and turn till the shoes are slightly scuffing
