Help, double din dose not fit in fascia
Help, double din dose not fit in fascia
Got the headunit wired up but I cant get the cage to go in the fascia.
Is it ok to cut of the bottom bit of the fascia ??

What do you do if the double din cage dose not fit in to the fascia .

ok I cut the bottom part of ,but now the cage will not fit now because of the brackets at the bottom .

Next thing to do might be to cut the top or the bottom of the cage off

If you look at the top pic, its the same one Wozza posted about but with the bottom part cut of. Now the cage dose not fit because of the brackets that get screwed in beside the TRC swithch . So I've now cut them off also :ohmy:

27-09-2017, 08:58 AM #9Just trying to think of what's going on there. Did the unit come with its own metal cage ? If so, then you shouldn't need to use that, the head unit should mount directly into the fascia adapter.
