I've fitted a JVC AVX-810. Very happy with it. Got Bluetooth and cd changer too which work great.

Was Supercharged Racing Green IS200 Sport. Now APR Stage 1 Seat Leon Cupra (220 Bhp).

still looking for one at the moment. Is it difficult to change. Anybody got a link on how to remove the fascia?

Whatever you do icemahn, don't buy one of those cheap non-branded units on eBay, that promise to do almost everything for a very low price. The sound quality will be absolutely rubbish.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

DJ Wozza If you really do want a (double DIN) DVD player, I would suggest as a starting point the JVC KW-AVX720 (7" touch screen, 5v pre out, remote control). I believe
you can also put a reverse camera input to this as well. I know this somewhat blows your budget, but if you must have a DVD player this a good starting point.

I have just bought one JVC KW-AVX720 :thumbup1:

It has a camera input and options for bluetooth and DAB, which I am getting.

Thats the one I have (I think).

DAB add on is fantastic, it knows the station you are listening to so if DAB reception is poor it goes to FM and vica versa. You MUST upgrade your aerial though otherwise reception is very bad, go for a HAL2 (JVC) it combines FM and DAB and replaces your OEM one, it takes 1 hour to completely change the aerial assembly and is DIY. The window mounted ones really are really poor by comparison.

DJ Wozza TBH mate you won't get much for that money at all, but if you only want CD/Mp3 you can get something reasonable. The cheap dvd players from ebay really
will drive you insane in the end as the quality & reliability is very poor, even though it seems you are getting a bargain as the feature/£££ ratio is quite high.
A few members have been down that road before, and have ended up getting rid and buying something branded in the end.

Obviously it is your choice mate, but I would recommend against the non-branded ebay route. If you want a double din CD/Mp3 Head Unit, Steviewevie has a
nice Pioneer that does the job very nicely.

The facia you need to get is an Autoleads FP-25-00 which can fit single or double DIN Head Units. I will post up a guide next week on modifying this facia to
match the IS200/IS300 dash. If you are going to use the existing Lexus speakers you will need a bypass lead from ebay as well (Item number: 280333459905).
The same shop does sell the Autoleads facia as well but currently hasn't got one listed. You can call them on 020 8288 0181

I will email the walkthru you wanted shortly, let me know if you need any more help Smile

EDIT Walkthru sent

Thanks for the advise wozza, will take on board. Thanks for the walk through, will be very helpful. Will update as soon as I get a unit

Change of plan now as my budget would not allow for a good brand 2 din DVDConfusedad:. Instead, I'm opting for a 2din CD/MP3 so I can put an amplified subwoofer at the back. I am looking at a Kenwood 2din. :w00t:

What's the best wiring route to wire the amp from the rear boot to the battery?

Also, wiring route from head unit to amp?
