Project Corolla T-Sport
Project Corolla T-Sport
Hey guys, as most of you now know we have got rid of the IS300 and went to a Corolla T-Sport, as the IS300 was such a fuel drinker, it was costing loads to run.
We purchased her on the 26/4/2011, did a straight swap for the Lexus, as the Lexus needed some bodywork repairs which would have cost the difference between the two cars. And she has been an amazing little car to drive so far, I've heard.
Anyway, enough chit chat, here are some pics taken today:
First mod came LED sidelights and HID dipped headlights, the sidelights were on during those first set of pictures:
Second mod came a self painted part engine cover:
More interior pictures to come.

Hope you like the car guys.

Next mod due to be delivered this week and to be fitted before Japfest,
40mm lowering springs,
Strut brace,
Next month,
Front lip,
side skirts,
Rear corner spats,
Later date,
18in rims,
Induction kit once my K&N is sold,
HKS rear exhaust, (can't find one anywhere)
Thanks gord, getting a K&N is not a problem but I cant justify £180 for a length of tube and a cone filter, might just cut up the IS300 kit as it has the MAF sensor fitting already in the tubing if I do not sell it.
its the HKS rear exhaust that are hard to come by
Dark Samurai, have you checked that if you lower it 40mm and put 18"'s on that there won't be any "rubbage" or catching from the wheels?
Mine's lowered 45mm at front and occasionally there is rubbing! Also what Anees and myself noticed the other day was at speed on a bumpy road the front lip can catch on the road....
Looks a nice clean car though..
Paul.
18's and lowered 40 mm will be fine as long as you use 215.35.18.........
one thing i will say to watch out for is the springs you go for because some of them lower the front more than the back..and it can look really silly.....seen a lot of lowered tsports come in to my work lowered around 50% of them had the raked look and it doesnt suit it..
aint got a clue how i missed this one!! thats a very nice motor you got phil, will keep an eye open for an exhaust for you. be good to see it next weekend :thumbup1:
