after getting my new strut brace the Nuts are looking in a bad way.
does anyone know where i can get new ones from or a different set as its letting the look of the bay down slightly with nasty rusty nuts
i want to change out some of the bolts anyway so may as well look at doing these aswell.

jimxms Not wanting to worry anyone here, but shouldn't the nuts used on the suspension towers be high tensile? I'm not sure how much force they are subject to, but I'd assume quite a bit combined with how much they need to be torqued down to?

sprinter2012 I wouldn't have thought they are any higher than any other nut in the engine bay, as all the force is pushing upward under the housing anyway? The nuts are just there to stop them falling out the bottom?
But either way, the ones I mentioned are 316 stainless so they'll be much stronger than the normal painted steel ones that come as standard.

jimxms You could well be right mate, but one of the forces I would have thought to be exerted on them would be under heavy braking when the body of the car wants to carry on, but the wheels/brakes/suspension want to stop?
I always thought that the OEM nuts were Zinc plated high tensile steel.

Lexuspat mine are just really rusted up and make the bay look messy is there a way of clearing them up without replacing them
