Disc brakes and inner alloy care
Disc brakes and inner alloy care
The disc brakes and inner part of the wheel have began to develop a coating of rust. Does anybody know of an solution to this problem or any products that could help???
Rim wax is pretty good for protecting your wheels mate, or even just a good wax would probably do? only thing you could do with the brakes is to clean them off and give them a coat of paint, most use the hamerite smooth and does a good job and protects the set up from rust :thumbup1:
Thanks for the advice Bandit, still not sure what to do to the up rated brake discs....can't paint them as it would just rub off, is there any kind of treatment which would stop the rust and not effect the preformance of the brakes???
Are you talking about rust on the actual contact face?
it happens on all discs mate, rubs off at first touch of the brakes
