parthiban I accept that, the point I was making is that even if it's half the size, there's still the same amount of plastic around it regardless of the size of the sim, so it's not saving plastic.
It's purely about carrier exclusivity, they're now moving to being SIM-less because obviously it's not that difficult to cut a standard sized SIM down to microsim size, and I think you can now buy dedicated cutters to do it.
