reset Throttle Positioning Sensor
reset Throttle Positioning Sensor
ok well this might be what is giving me all the grief after the small problems i had.
any idea's on how to reset it
It might seem simple, but have you tried an ECU reset?
yes mate. had the battery out for an hour while fixing the short. think this might have messed up the throttle sensor. going to put it on the tester tomorrow

well found the problem. was a fuse missing. not sure how that happened but all done. fixed the o2 sensor fault and fitted the afr gauge plus fitted new break disks all round. cleared all fault codes and did the needles on my gauge. looks ok but will sand them down and paint them with some glass paint

it was one in the engine bay fuse box. not sure if i took it out to check it and put it back in the wrong place but thats what was causing all the problems. aswell as a o2 sensor i shopped of ebay that turnerd out to be a fuel air sensor. hence the engine light on. but picked up a old one from work that was working so just changed the plugs over.
i have contacted the ebay seller to confirm it's not a o2 sensor and will wait to see what he says
