Lexus SC430 Wheel fitting guide
Lexus SC430 Wheel fitting guide
Just some idea's about what might fit on your SC430.
First of all let's think about what am I looking to do with my car
Will I be looking to add a big brake system or is this already installed.
So the disc and brake can allow or fail with whether your new wheels will fit.
Another is Offset
Offset is the most important part of choosing your next wheels this goes hand in glove with the width of wheels.
You will also have to consider after market springs and Coilovers as to how this may affect the type of wheels you can fit.
Some people will roll their arches to allow a larger fit as well.
Please remember that you can easy crack the paint work when rolling the archers…
Also another thing to think about is do I want to re fit the wheel sensors to the car.
It is easy to turn off the sensors but please remember that these are built in as a safety feature.
So now down to what should fit.
Stock are 18"
19"
Front Rear
19x 9.5 +45 these are easy to put on
19x 9 + 24 19x10+24 this will depend on tyre choice
19x9.5+30 19x10.5 +30 this will also depend on tire choice.
19x9+30 19x11+36 will go on but will need additional work ie; shaving the arches or rolling them so these are for professional set up
20"
Front Rear
20x8.5 +18 20x10 +24 this will depend on tyre choice
20x9 +24 20x10 +24 this will depend on tyre choice
20x9 +24 20x10.5 +30 this will depend on tyre choice
20x9.5 +30 20x10.5 +30 this will depend on tyre choice
20x9+24 20x11 +36 will go on but will need additional work ie; shaving the arches or rolling them so these are for professional set up.
Please remember to have your car geo done (WheelsInMotion is who I would recommend) once fitted to get the best wear out of your tyres.
Some of the above may require spacer but most of all will depend on what tyres/make of tyre you are going to use. .
The above really is only a guide and can depend on many of the above being taken into account.
Very good info matey.
Some of that stuff is universal and information can be stretched over all types of car. The first part.
