I said I would post this for a friend. The trim strip down the driver's side of his roof has been stolen, and he can/will not pay the dealer for the part.

Just wandered if anyone had one spare by any chance, or if they were breaking an IS200. Ideally looking for the right colour, (Strathcaron Blue - 8N8) but if it's really cheap he might consider painting it. He has had the car nearly 10 years, and has no interest in modifying it or spending any money on it, though would like this part replaced and a wheel refurb (worst corrosion I have ever seen on Lex wheels!)

You can just make out the missing bit in this photo:

£70. I know you said he won't buy the part from a dealer, but that's not a lot for a brand new part, painted IMO.

Thanks for the info mate. He was looking to pay breaking/scrap price for it, as been missing ages, and he's not really a car person!

But that is not as bad as it could be, certainly, and I will pass it on.
