Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo!
Finally went out to car and removed old oil cooler piping and found one of the unions quite loose so I'm assuming that's the oil leak lol. I've also ordered original oil cooler to bring sandwich plate further away from the block as I'm not limited for space due to original intake manifold. I found that the sandwich plate is too close to the block and makes it very difficult to get unions tightened up. With that I bought new sandwich plate for 8an so my pipes are not so big and there is enough flow. So waiting on them now! Orderef new turbo smart blow off valve as well as needed a new one and I can get this mounted properly so it tidies that up so I've not got so many clamps just looks tacky! Next order will be the new dash2 so I'll research all I need for that as T-Lex needs MOT and wouldn't pass with original dash as half the bits don't work lol

Tomorrow I am off to sprayers to get my flushed boot sprayed as I was unhappy with my job little defects that I can see which means Stav would be all over it lol

26-12-2021, 11:44 AM #1,117Well big spend day had to get my daily rx8 a new exhaust system which dented me abit. Got my new turbo for T-Lex ordered, an actual gt35 not like my don't know what turbo it is fitted lmao anyway this one has a 0.68ar turbine housing so no more lag well when she fitted. Also ordered my turbosmart BOV again as it was out of stock last time but they assured me that it's in stock now lol
Tomorrow I am off to sprayers to get my flushed boot sprayed as I was unhappy with my job little defects that I can see which means Stav would be all over it lol

Well i got my turbosmart BOV fitted and what can i say worth every penny and the build quality of these products are second to none.

I relocated my oil cooler and mounted that in new location and bought all new AN fixings so now the air on the passenger side enters through the front and out my newly cut side vents.

Changed my turbo manifold and relocated the screamer pipe to exit out of the wing.

Fitted my chargespeed bonnet although it does need spraying as you can see the sun damage to it. This still requires doing.

Flush boot is now fitted. Not the best spray job but suffices for now. Ill get redone when i get my bonnet sprayed.

Well i got my turbosmart BOV fitted and what can i say worth every penny and the build quality of these products are second to none.
I relocated my oil cooler and mounted that in new location and bought all new AN fixings so now the air on the passenger side enters through the front and out my newly cut side vents.
