In my area of milton keynes 3 is the best for coverage. Can't get a 3g signal with Voda or O2 even though their website says I should be able to.

For me it was poor network coverage and bad customer service that put me off 3.

I'm now with Vodafone and I am happy with them.

I won't say but I think theres a few people here that know lol, it'll only get people started anyway,

but half the complaints I come across are down to simple staff errors and to be honest, silly customer errors, also the amount of people who kick off the second they walk thru the door without even giving me a chance to help sort their problem, that end up leaving having had to apologise to me because i've helped them when they didn't think I could is unreal

I could go on all day about people and their issues, but one obvious one is that phones are like computers and need to be updated these days to fix bugs and improve features, its part and parcel of owning an up to date handset, and people get scared off by this as "they shouldn't have to maintain it" lol, truth is if they want a phone to be a phone, they need to go back to cheap basic ones that do nothing but phone

all network coverage is based on outdoors, even tho the phone can't really be used in the rain, customers say this is pointless giving stats for outdoors, but theres stuff indoors that affects signal and customers don't seem to want to take it into account, such as building materials, how built up an area is, how much other electrical equipment is in the buildings etc

but yeh, Love the N8, if Blackberry and Nokia mixed the N8 and Bold i'd have it for life lol

From my experience I am field based and drive 50k a year for work, I cover most of the SE england, tomorrow I could be on the south coast and by the afternoon I could end up in Ipswich. In general the O2 signal varies from good 3g to NO service, on the 3 network 90% of the day 3g and reliable, when your out in the country side of Kent or Essex that is when you need a reliable means of comms, and O2 is so poor for that, all my comms at work comes thro O2 and I may have to drive to the next town to get a good signal to complete down my job and to receive the next call, but when I check 3's signal it always shows 3g with 4 bars,
Only my experience.

1990 Eunos Roadster in Mariner DU blue
Cobalt cat back, Decat pipe, 15in Red Rota GT3 alloys, Toyo tyres, Lowered on Coil overs, Red anti roll bars, 14degree timing mod, white dash kit, illuminated side marker lights,
Halo ring headlights, OEM windblocker, Bluetooth streaming HU, Blue leather handbrake and gear lever gaitor, Centre brake/tail light mod, Blue velour door cards, Polished cam cover, Polished front strut bar, 4xheadrest speakers, JDM floor mats, Suede semi dish steering wheel,

parthiban Didn't think of that, yeah the mouse would come in really handy in that case. Would also be really useful for presentations if it can handle powerpoint slides?

As for 3, totally depends on the area. I think on the whole their coverage is worse than the other networks, but there are areas where you'll have 3 coverage and no other network.........

3 have the biggest 3g network, and use Orange for areas that they don't have voice coverage, seeing as Orange is also using T-mobile bases (?) now that gives 3 a real good network.

The days of 3 being no more than a joke are long gone. Although their cust. service sucks.

Any way been with them for years and years never once had a dropped call, or any difficulty with them.
