DaveEdin I think tapatalk is a bit of a marmite app really... You don't quite get the full experience of the forum, but you do get to avoid the banner ads of the web based forum...

It's worth a try anyway. I've only recently downloaded it as I'm thinking about building an actual ojc app and seeing how it's already done is useful

Tapatalk can be useful, especially if you are on a slower mobile connection as it loads faster. It is quite good and so to make an OJC specific app would be quite a challenge, as it had most features nailed.

Phil01 Advanced Task Killer

This app is unnecessary on Froyo, Gingerbread or above, as the build in task killer is better.

2tongues Angry Birds is the best game.

If you like Angry Birds, try Stupid Zombies and Bouncy Mouse. As well as the obvious, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio!

DaveEdin Ttorrent lite lets you find/download movies over a wifi connection (it'd be dumb to do it over a mobile one after all)

Unless you're my mate Chris... got a letter from O2 a few days later saying WTF ARE YOU DOING?!

How strange you should say that, Just checked mine and the built in task killer showed 5 active tasks running, where as ATK showed 12.
I then used in built killer to shut down the 5 tasks running and then went back to ATK and it still was showing 7 and still hogging 38mbmb of ram.

I found that ATK killed things I did not want it to! Plus the built in Task Manager kills tasks after a certain amount of time if they are idle.... I think! The built in Task Manager also has a separate section for clearing that RAM, which will kill all those things not picked up as "applications". I also use a Task Killer widget from the people who make my GO Launcher, though more to see what's running that to kill things (though it has one touch task killing from the home screen.)

Oh if you pay for internet access or have limited allowance (as I do here in the USA due to stupid costs of mobile internet) then "APN onoff" is perfect, it turns internet off and on, saving a massive amount of battery and limited internet allowance.

Alternatively, hold the power button and then click "Network Data Mode Activate/Deactivate". Yes it is two clicks instead of one, but if that is the only point of the widget, what is the point?
