Wow didn't realise quite how long it's been! Been quite busy making an exhaust system for a lad on TezzaWorld so didn't have much time to play with my car. Car is back on the road and running pretty sweet though which is always nice Tongue

Plugged in a standard ECU to run a diagnostic and like I thought, it was the TPS. I can't afford one at the moment but without it the fly by wire doesn't work so I took my throttle body apart and moded it so it's now fully cable, much much better throttle response and better feel with the car, it does exactly what you want now whereas before it would hesitate and completely ignore what the pedal is doing. It accelerates way better too. I got a standard ECU to run the car on until the power fc is mapped which kinda sucks as it is WAY slower Sad

Tried to run it on the power fc again but it won't rev past 2k so I'll have to put it to one side for now.
Got an IS200 bumper

So nice having the car really low but still be able to go over speed bumps!
Probably won't be many updates for a while, now that I've got her running I'm going to be putting all my time into the exhaust to get that out the way. Didn't quite realise what month it was and I have until June to get my car fully done ready for lemans.
Hoping to get back on it in about 3, maybe 4 weeks leaving me just enough time to fill and paint the bumper, paint the bonnet and wing, make a front undertray/sumpguard, fit gas struts on the bonnet, getting the power fc mapped first week of june (can't wait!) sort out some wiring in the centre console to sort out some little bits, bleed the breaks, change all fluids and filters give it a real nice service before the final wash and polish ready for the 1000+ miles of driving in 4 days.

I've had it driving for a few days now and all the troubles and frustration I had is completely justified. It's such a pleasure to drive, love it to bits

So got round to fitting a PAS cooler last night. I gave my friend the core and asked him to make the cooler for me while I strip the system out. Just my luck, for some reason he made it wrong and put the fittings in the wrong place even though I told him where I want it all. Didn't want to move the fittings as it is a total pain of a job so I just ran it.
I pulled out teh whole system from rack to the reservoir.
Mounted it and plumbed in some nice braided stainless hoses and it was looking pretty dam sweet!

There was a bit of machining to do to adapt pipe fittings etc. Made a new PAS reservoir with nice fittings. Mounted the cooler in a nice accessible way sojust undo 2 bolts and it drops out.

I was pretty happy with it, all looked pretty sweet so i filled her up and ran the engine. It was 2 A.M at this point so I was pretty excited to get home.
I tried to bleed the system, I tried different levels of oil and still the pump would scream at me. There was LOADS of air in the system so I was in the workshop until 7 A.M trying to figure out what was going on. Eventually I gave in and got really ****** off so I gave up.

Finally dawned on me this morning that having the fittings at the bottom of the cooler will leave the top part full of air and I would really struggle to fill that with fluid so the cooler is coming off and I'm going to try fitting a bleed nipple to it which should solve the issue.
