Would be interesting to know. I'm not familiar enough with the IS200 to tell you, to be honest. I've done plenty of work on my MR2's aircon though and that is a royal pain in the ****, I can't see how the IS200 could be anywhere near as difficult from the workshop diagrams. For a start it's all at the same end of the car!

You have to remember not to let the refrigerant leak out etc, and pressure test before putting any back in (and replace ANY o-rings you touch). As far as refrigerant is concerned, Kwik-Fit is your friend (can't believe I've just said that) as they charge a fixed £25 to do anything with aircon (refrigerant recovery, pressure test, reoil and refill) and it's done automatically by a machine so the muppets can't get it wrong.

Latest is.........................

Fly wheel of the 3SGTE is to big for the 3SGE (Altezza) bell housing on the gearbox. Will these setbacks never end?????

Solution is an Altezza flywheel and clutch, and starter motor.

The Prop will be back on Friday at least thats some good news!!

Presumably doing that reduces the friction surface area = more likely slippage? Or are you going for an uprated tezza kit? Stock 3SGTE clutch kit is good for about 350, dunno what the 3SGE is but I would assume less.

Is the Altezza flywheel the right PCD?
