Wayne I can barely get the shopping in mine!

I don't have the baby worry, yet. It's either a baby or a dog. Thats my choice, so I've been told. I'm swinging towards the dog, they cost less and only last 15 or so years!

Haha yeah wouldn't dream of trying to take on a baby and a dog but you are right I'm pretty sure a dog is much less commitment!

Another quick update this weekend, managed to get hold of a nice clean Genuine Roof Rack

So made myself some clear paint protectors and got the rack fitted, really nice bit of kit, wont be on very often hopefully, but the plan is to buy a nice roof box and use these on the days I need lots of things plus the new baby!

They don't really suit the sporty theme I have been going with for the car but I also think they could look a lot worse, I'm quite surprised just how quiet they are if you don't mind the slight hum you could leave these on 24/7

First update it a long time today.

I guess this is a sort of backwards modification, but I have stuck the winter boots on the Lexus ready for any snow and rough weather we may get this year, never had winter tyres before but I have only heard great things about them, especially these new Nokian WR D4's which seems almost too good to be true http://www.nokiantyres.com/winter-tyres/nokian-wr-d4/

To go along with the new rubber I also had my original F-Sport alloys refurbished in Shadow Chrome, local guy did them at an unbelievable price for me, I really couldn't justify messing about doing them myself for what he charged me and he has done an amazing job so let him crack on.

What you guys think?

Only thing that is bothering me now is how far inside the arches these wheels look compared to my 19's, I'm thinking a set of hubcentric spacers are maybe required to wider the track, not some much on the front but mainly on the rear where the wheels just look lost now the car is slightly lower than factory

Thanks mate, yeah the boot lid just gives it that something a bit different.

Really happy with the new colour of the wheels and on my drive home the new rubber feels great.

Need some more snow now so I can have a play and see what everyone goes on about winter tyres for, we got some the other day but not on my route to work

Yeah luckily last year it didn't snow here so didn't have any trouble in the winter but with a baby on the way and more and more responsibility at work not getting out for a day or 2 because of a bit of snow isn't an option for me.

Hopefully winter tyres are as good as everyone says, first rear wheel drive car I have had too, I'm maybe being a bit overly cautious but its better than loosing it because there's a bit of slush going down a hill or something equally as daft
