Is it worth upgrading early and joining the sheep generation or hang on. I would obviously sell my 8520 and my 32GB i Pod Touch to cover the early charges but is it worth doing?

I need some advice. I currently have a blackberry 8520 on vodafone and have 12 months left (24month contract) however the more I see some one with an i phone the more I want one. If I cancel my contract now ill owe vodafone £225 eek!!!

And if you're swapping to an iPhone they'll be able to negotiate something for you, you won't need to completely buy out your existing contract to get the new one - a friend of mine swapped his 3GS for a 4 before his last contract ended and while I can't remember the exact amount he definitely didn't need to pay the full contract amount.
