Because iTunes think you buy their music, so sending it for free is illegal.

they thinking about making money instead of giving you the option to break the law or not,

its not just music to transfer what about documents, images and videos?

end of the day no excuse for not providing it, no excuse for not providing micro sd cards

I've read rumours that the next iPhone won't even have a SIM card to make it even more difficult to switch networks and stuff - and given the microSIM that they've just created it doesn't sound that far fetched.

Did an apple store "genius" tell you that? What material exactly does it save? :tongue_smilie:

parthiban Did an apple store "genius" tell you that? What material exactly does it save? :tongue_smilie:

no one told me that, hence why my post started with the words "I think" lol

I can't think of another reason to produce a smaller sim than to save using as much plastic

initially we had credit card sized sims, and quickly they changed to the sims that we are all familiar with, but they still came in a credit card sized piece of plastic that u snapped the sim out of, only at the beginning of this year (or late last year, not sure which) in the uk did that credit card piece of plastic become half the size, and that was only because the potential saving on plastic had simply been overlooked in the past...

So where is all this saved plastic?

That's fair enough if the card has got smaller, but as long as there is plastic around it nothing is being saved. The pure reason for the microsim is carrier exclusivity..........
