HID fault help please lol
They are TRD items, I believe have been fitted by previous owner.
They turn on, lamps flash on and then go off.
Any thoughts? I have checked the wiring and all seems ok, although there is a box inline with the ballast box, not sure what this is.
Where do I start? Surely if bulbs have blown they won't light at all? Just odd that both have stopped working?

the ballast is there to ignite the lamps if the lamps have both died then the ballast will fail strike so you get a spark but not proper light or the ballasts could be gone...
Bulbs are probably fine, it's most likely something is up with the ballasts.

Some kits have a separate starter, that's probably what the second box plugged into the ballast is.
Bulbs are probably fine, it's most likely something is up with the ballasts.

Because you have both blown it would be very bad luck that both boxes are gone....

I had the same thing but only one was not working and it was the Ballast box which was blown.The price of one Ballast box was almost the same as the kit so i brought a new kit in the end.
Because you have both blown it would be very bad luck that both boxes are gone....
