Rab don't suppose u can dig out that stuff might have to give it a go.

I take it the sat nav stays on all the time or something like that so u don't have to use the power switch on the sat nav its self

Lexuspat cheers ormi someone told me it would thats all

Ormi is correct, it doesn't affect the pedal. Sometimes it is a sharper feel but you get used to that.

Going from general conversation that I've had with others, people have said that a race clutch can get heavy and be a bit of pain in a daily drive... They weren't lexus owners though... so I suppose it's going to different depending on the car / clutch etc... I suppose everyones opinion of a 'heavy clutch' will differ too.

Are there many benefits of the race clutch over a standard clutch when running stock power? More aggressive bite?

I can imagine the standard lexus clutch being able to cope with quite a lot...

Just curious really Smile

fast road clutch just has a thicker friction plate which can cope with more standing starts etc no real noticable change with clutch feel
racing clutch is totally diff friction plates even thicker to handle more power and the clutch cover fingers are reinforced so it clamps down harder stopping clutch slip, thats why its either on or off...better for 1/4 miles and proper track racing..
so lets sum up...
A fast road clutch is NOT a racing clutch...
