Tyre pressures - URGENT!
Tyre pressures - URGENT!
I'm getting my car sorted out today and getting the mot done as well so will be putting my new TTE Grand Prix 18" wheels on but what pressure should I have the tyres set to? I know that wim recommends 35psi all round for the standard 17s but what about 18s?
Please can someone let me know asap as I'll be putting the wheels on in about an hour.
I had 35psi on my 18" rims - no problems.

I run 33psi all round on 18s. IICRC Tony reccommended this to me a while back.:confused1:
WIM settings for both 17 and 18s (225/45/18) is 35 all round
35 all round in my 18s, which I believe are the same size as the grand prix ones.
35 psi all round is a proven starting point for 17" & 18" on the IS200, but you still need to monitor the wear pattern on a regular basis and adjust up or down depending on whether the tread is wearing more on the inside & outside edges or in the middle. Variation can be the result of rubber compound, usual driving speeds and the duration of journeys.
