spliffy hi
now im really confused, i to only had the sub key when i bought my is200 and have been looking into a new master for a while now. After reading this thread i split my key and it has a small push button under a clear plastic lense where boot lid remote button is. So, if i am thinking correctly i can dremmel\remove clear lense covering get a three key fob with buttons and then this would work like a master or am i wrong and still need to get key programmed
[Image: RIMG0017.jpg][/IMG] this is a pic of transponder on bottom right is clear lense with switch

As Jasons has said it will still need to be reprogrammed as a master, but yes you won't need to buy a new key.

Exactly, you can then use you new 'master' key to reprogram a spare..
