project IS200 LE
hi all
im new to the club but not to modding cars, had a few and spent way to much over the years  but its an addiction as im sure you guys know, this is my second lexus is200, my first was to replace my toyota supra as i needed a 4 door family car, it was modded but i decided to sell on when it got to 200k miles! ive owned this one for 8 months, bought it standard with full history 29k miles, its a 2003 is200 limited edition in kodiak metalic, full leather, hid headlights, all other usual bits
few pics of when i bought it....
then debadged, cat back cobra exhaust, daiyama coilovers, dotz gtr 18" alloy wheels, ultra light lug nuts, jdm grill
then i had to get all the disks and pads done, anit roll bars, full service, cambelt. water pump,k&n panel filter, spent alot of time and effort detaling and cleaning it to get it to a very high standard which paid off as i won best toyota/lexus class at thorseby jap show
then deicded i wanted to go to the next level on the body, got a vis front splitter, trd skirts which have had the "curve" smoothed out, trd rear skirt, impreza rear spoiler widend and flared, also got trd rear light covers
decided i was not sure about the rear lights so got 80/20 splitts from the states
also front strut brace i wrapped in carbon, radiator cooling panel trd radiator cap
done blue smd dash upgrade and a few trd dress up parts inside aswell
im very happy with it, i realise its not everyone thing but every has there own taste, got top five at jap show finale show and shine at weekend and was very happy, got a few smaller mods planned in the near future and wanting to either supercharge or do a engine transplant long term but got a wedding to pay for first, i hope you all like
cheers
Looks great mate! nice touches
cheers mate, i also treated myself to a new number plate recently as its almost my 30th birthday
Very nice and very shiny , and some good mods that you have done there.
Commented on how much I like this car on your thread on the 'other forum', I think the new rear lights look much better :thumbup1:
Stunning car although I'm not a lover of large spoilers on the lexus but each to there own what TRD mods have you gone for inside.
Well done on the show and shine results
Looks good... :-)
