I had this problem with my brothers PS3 hard drive, his PS3 fried itself so I took out the hard drive to tried and make a copy of it (I've got proper hard drive cloning software) but as soon as I plugged it in, the computer recognised that it wasn't in PC format and tried to create a partition, wiping all his data in the process :thumbdown:

However the result was that the hard drive then became completely blank, if you can still see the files on yours then there's still hope Smile
