Microsoft Outlook problem
Microsoft Outlook problem
I use Outlook for email, so I had it set up to preview all image files in Photoshop now I turn the pc on today and for no reason that I can see it has reverted to previewing files in Paint or Infranview (a great tool for)
Does anyone know how to reset the image preview in Photoshop????

Win 7.
Quote:NOTE: Attachment previewers that come with the 2007 Microsoft Office system allow you to preview the files created in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 (i.e. Outlook 2007, Word 2007, PowerPoint 2007, Excel 2007, Visio 2007, images and text files). Other software manufacturers may provide their own previewers that support their file types. You can search the Web to find additional information.

Hmmm something is definably not right, not sure how to tell Outlook to use Photoshop again.
phil try this mate not sure if it will work but try right clicking on a file you want to open then there should be a option that says 'open with' then click choose progam then select the program you want the files to open with.
hope this works for you mate
Shout louder but slower
Preview
open
print
save as
Copy
Select all
These are the only options it gives me with a right click???
Googlewitchanics says :
Windows Explorer | Tools | Folder
Options | File Types
In here you can scroll through the list and find file types and change the programmes that open them so Outlook is one
item selected in red circle hope this works for you
If outlook inherits the options from windows then Dino's setup will work... (and it's the same suggestion Sam is making essentially) - If you don't get the Open With, try holding down shift when you right click the file...
I've noseyed about in outlook and I can't find a specific setting for attachment control, so it might be the case that it does inherit from windows directly...
