Hi all,

Need some help, I went to change my numberplate bulbs for led ones and have found they are not working.. Also my front fog lights are not working either, I have checked both the tail fuse and the fr fog fuse and both are fine but still nothing, does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do?

Thanks

if they are LED are they in the right way round sorry its a daft question to ask but LED's due to there design will only work one way round unlike a filament Lamp

ok do you know how to use a Multimeter ? if so could you try placing the leads from the multimeter in the pins of the Light fitting then turn the lights on this will tell you if you are getting any volts to the unit in question....

I would change the fuse just in case and try it again just to make sure its not the cheap little fuse

Ok so I managed to get 1 part sorted, the numberplate lights started working after a fuse change and turning them round so that is one thing,

My fogs however are still not working, can hear the relay click when I turn them on, the fuse is all good but still nothing, unfortunately rain has stopped play so cannot check the bulbs and the voltage, is there any common faults with the fogs, bearing in mind the bumper has been off several times whilst fixing the front end damage

it could be that the connections are scummed up from general wear and tear corrosion is enough to stop them working but can take time to show it self....
