I'm toying with the idea of running strips of leds to the rear of the door handles, so that they light the recess of the door where the handle is when you unlock the car with the remote fob?

Cool or mega chavy?

this is fairly easy to do mate but i wouldn't recommend a strip but a single bright led mounted in the recess of the handle the reflective surface of the paint will allow the light to illuminate the entire handle

Haven't looked as to how i would light the area up as yet, just wanted to gauge whether it would be too chavy or not.

But a single led some where would be a good idea, cheers.

Have it come on for a set time when disarming the alarm that would be best.

Was going with the idea of connecting them to the footwell lights i'v already got installed?

Rab, any idea of the draw a 24 strip of leds would use? Dont want to over load anything!
I'v got my footwell lights on the ign ring light.
