Yeah, that is something I'd considered (and forgotten). Thanks for the reminder !

Thanks Smile

Do you think it would be easy enough to install the LED into the dash ? Would it just need an appropriate bezel ?

If you do go down that route, remember the TOAD LED is dual colour, which the stock one probably isn't, and it's the wrong way round for most multi-colour LEDs. Usually you'd have multiple positives with a shared negative but the TOAD one is shared positive and multiple negatives. Also it needs to be a smoked style LED rather than one with a totally clear housing.

Thanks, but are you saying it's going to need to be soldered onto the board behind the panel ? I was hoping for a "poke it through the hole" type of solution.

Couldn't say without seeing the board Smile I imagine that's probably how the stock one is done - it won't be held in with an LED clip because it will be relatively flush mounted, so it'll be held in place by its legs.

You could always attach 1 leg to the PCB for a +ve feed and then run the -ve legs to the TOAD alarm via wires.

Do you remember when I did mine? It's in the MR2's build thread somewhere.

In the MR2 the alarm LED was a totally separate PCB so much easier to muck around with. Unlikely the IS200 is the same, I would expect the LED circuitry to be integrated onto the main PCB.

Am sure either Stav or Rabs will be able to confirm!
