Do the IS200 Sport have bigger front discs than S & SE ? i seen a website cant remember what one that it listed 2 different diameters for IS200 & is this brand Mtec any good,? they only list 296mm diameter
http://www.mtecbrakes.co.uk/index.php?ma...s_id=19419

My mate got these fitted to his Civic Type R (obviously not lexus ones lol) he not actually put it to proper use yet.

As Stav said, all the same.

Pretty sure I am running Mtec disks front and rear (fitted last year by previous owner), I certainty have Mintex pads. All seem good so far.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

Me personally would go for the black diamond brake discs, the same as what you are looking at, but they are £200!! But the quality is good

I would 100% steer clear of 'drilled' discs. Dimpled is fine, but I can almost guarantee that any drilled disc you get from a non named brand such as brembo or 3g, will probably crack where the holes are.

Honestly, your best bet is just to stick with OEM because everyone knows they work. lol

I replaced all the Celica disks and pads with new OEM ones and the breaks work brilliantly, even though all the ones I removed were OEM well worn ones. If you have standard power and not carrying a huge ICE install then OEM are fine for the job. New Vs Old is so different.
