Newbie with IS200
Hi all,
Just got myself a lovely dark grey IS200, little bit of paint peeling but it is 14 years old and has a little smoke when first starting (valve stem oil seals I'm thinking) but drives lovely, its comfortable and compared to my last car goes like stink.
Going to be modifying it in a VIP style and would also like to turbo it, seen ads on eBay for stage one kit supplied and fitted for 2,500 or stage 2 for just over 3,000, is it worth it or is there a cheaper and easier way to do it? obviously will be getting the things that need to be sorted first but always good to have a plan.
Anyway hoping to get lots of ideas, hints and tips from you all and hopefully share any ideas, hints and tips I pick up too.
Don't worry about the smoke perfectly normal defo when you have a after market back box
Welcome mate.
The squint turbo kits are decent kits to go for. A lot of cars running them now.
Personally I wouldn't go for the stage 2 and there is better ecu options out there.
What Ecu would u recommend stav, I've been looking at the AEM fic6 piggy back or a emu master standalone for when I'm ready to up the power

The aem works. Not heard of the other myself.
I'm currently putting a FIC6 on my NA-T Supra.
It's quite an easy process once you have all the wiring diagrams.
Just takes time to wire it all in safely... Just working on my Base map now.
Do you know anyone that maps the fic6 as I want it done properly I'm not confident to write the maps my self

Unfortunately not... I'm giving it a go myself.
(with help )
As the supra is distributer all I have to do is do a Base fuel map and then adjust the fueling to suit
