Headlight condensation
Headlight condensation
This has been an annoying problem which i've not been able to solve. The left headlight on my is200 keeps fogging up with condensation. I know there must be a crack on the light fixture or something that is letting moisture in. Have taken a good look at it and super glued anything that look like the cause.
The only thing i can do to dry/clear it up is put the headlights on fully beam to heat up the bulb and evaporate the moisture.
Any ideas guys??? Pulling my hair out over this issue.
a good way to solve the issue may be to bake the headlight in the oven and push it back together.
it simple enough to do just dont leave it in there to long
in fact i did it to my drivers headlight this morning
If that sounds too drastic you may want to try driving with the lights on but the sidelight pulled out of the cluster. As it gets hot the moisture evaporates out of the hole. This can work, with sometimes temporary and sometime permanent results.

mine did that yeah when hot goes but cools comes back i took bulb out, just blew inside with hair dryer got it all dry when cool and seems to have sorted it, how bad is it tho?
I have had the same problem with my left headlight, I did the hairdryer move on it, then i put some silicone sealant around as much as I could without taking the headlight out, and it did work for months, then the problem came back so will have to bake the headlight again, probably the best thing to do
