Right a little update!
I bought a few odds and sods like the sports pedals and door sills they should be delivered sometime this week
Paid deposit on my manifold and downpipe (Many Thanks IKE)
Reverse dip mirrors module
Cant remember what ive actually got getting delivered
Still not got hold of the injectors but money holding me back at present need pay day to come!!!
Next updates will be the actual build and loads of photos will be uploaded maybe few vids take care all!!
Right a little update went to fit the head studs today and hit a problem straight away i didnt realise that the ARP studs from the surpra had to be the mains ones for the head on the 1GFE engine so i got another set order and they will be on there way tomorrow!
Also today checked the block over as its been 5 months since ive seen it so give it the once over and scraped any old gasket or muck off the top and bottom, also cleaned my threads out.
Tomorrow i will be fitting the mains ARP studs and bearing so the crank shaft can be installed.
After this i will get the pistons in with the new bearings and rings and start on a few ancillaries.
Ill get lots of photos so watch this space not the best of starts i know but its never plain sailing lmao
right what ive got done so far:
Fitted my new door sills
Started on my 3x pod for gauges
Fitted the new bearing and crankshaft with the ARP studs (for anyone wanting to do this is is a 12 point 12mm socket that is required)
Got pistons going in but a big boo boo ring compressor broke and so did a piston ring so ordered a new set and a bit better compressor i stayed very calm honest!!!
started fitting the timing belt casing and the rearoil seal retainer
All have new gaskets and seals
Next couple of days im going to fit these:
Oil strainer
Oil cooler
Knock sensors
Oil dipstick guide support
Water outlet pipe
Keep the pictures coming mate!
