Lexus Is200 SE Project
Lexus Is200 SE Project
I'm not entirely sure. When I sold my lock set I sold the ecu, all locks, and the theft ecu. I'll have a think.
Before you buy anything though, I'd get the new garage or yourself to check all the fuses and relays are fine then test the ecu terminals to see if your getting a ground or 12v as needed.
So we are running again!!!
Turns out after fitting my decat manifold the lambda sensor has been braying off the chassis! Causing it to blow fuses left, right and centre! And hence the car wouldn't start when it first went off!
I've unplugged the sensor for the Time being, the garage advised me it would have little if no effect, however they may have been wrong, I'm defiantly over fuelling! 70ish miles on half a tank LOL! Oh and it's started to pop and bang, not much but more than it used to!?
Going to get a good dent in my chassis and get the wires patched up so there is no more knocking!
To all that helped, thanks, especially stav who supplied everything I needed and more, top bloke! Also Stix and jay, top help as always lads
Yeah you def need the front 2 lamba's. The Lexus is a closed loop fuelling system so controls the fuel ratio from them.
Glad I could help mate and knew it had to be something simple not the whole ecu.
So eventually we got the car sorted and up and running! Since then we have had nothing but snow! So I've been doing some off the car work!
First off! People are like 'bet your car is **** in the snow', and I'm like 'no' which suprised them and myself! Seriously though! Unless I jam it into a drift or the snow becomes way to deep, this car gets through it all!
Tte front bumper and trd side skirts are all painted and ready to fit...
Then I painted the grille so it all looked fresh:
Starting to look a little cluttered:

Also I thought I would put some of my christmas bonus to use, I bought some genuine Rays Victrix pleasure wheels, I'm over the moon with them! There big and shiny, I'm sure haters will hate, but I think I can pull them off! Watch this space eh!
The offending articles:
The specs of the wheels are: 18 x 8J offset +35mm with 45mm Dish
18 x 9J offset +35mm with 60mm Dish
Can't wait to get these on! Still deciding on tyres and sizes depending on how they fit with the arches, I'm still unsure how they will look!
That's it for now!
Can't wait to see them on mate!
Tyre wise on the back on a 9.5 et35 I've been advised 225/40 so you could go for that or even a 215 being 9j just roll and flare the arches and you should be laughin
215? I put that on a 7inch alloy! I've got 275 on my 10's
**** I missed an img code lol! Cheers Stix!
Well with regards to tyres, stav and Chris, I don't know weather or not to stretch the tyres on?
215 on an 8 and maybe 225 on a 9? Just so it's less work to get them to sit flush, but that's just my logic so I could be completely wrong!
On my Leon I ran 215 on an 8.5j and it wasn't rediculous stretch. As soon as I get them ill test fit and see where we need to go
Stav, 275 x 19 my god they must cost you a fortune lol
