Lexus Is200 SE Project
So as I should be fast asleep, ill keep it short and sweet! The next major update is a supercharger iscoStu:
Collecting it a week on Tuesday and hopefully fitting it up on Wednesday I can't wait for it and aiming to get a larger pulley very soon to get my boost up
also ive bought an hks ssqv and some sfs hose to match up everything! i like the noise so i couldnt resist!
I'm thankful I have Stix and jay keeping me right up here! Not forgetting the rest of you though, yeah stav, that's you!
I've also took the plunge and became a outlaw. Think it's about time really considering the amount I use the forum and the help I get from it
Cheers
Ste
Great news mate! Be good to see what you boys can get out of the chargers!
So this is gonna be a long post and pic heavy! Beware!!
First of all on Saturday me and Stix did the 660 mile round trip to south east London. A canny trip and an early start of 4pm!! Needless to say it was a ****** long day! For you who are interested, I got 660 miles on one £80.00 tank of fuel...in my bmw 320D lol!!
So with the kit finally in my hands we decided to get it fitted the next day!
That night I decided that I wasn't into the black pipe work that the previous owner had done so I got scrubbing and polishing...
And I ended up with...
And I was really happy to find some genuine stamps that had been hidden
After this I have the rest of the kit a quick clean and put another layer of black on the intercooler as it looked tatty but I couldn't be bothered to strip the paint off! Ill buy a new Fmic eventually!
I also won an HKS SSQV on eBay and that arrived so I polished it up, it went from...
To...
Currently just waiting on my green sfs t piece hose to arrive and then I can get this fitted
Fitting Sunday was a long day, freezing cold and rain/sleet, I've defiantly had better days working on the car! Thanks to Stix for all his help and wisdom as we hit some stumbling blocks and with out him I would have been screwed!
(He's going to do a how to on the fitting of the charger, eventually)
So it started like this:
And finished like this:
So that was it in!! Happy days it works really well, no bad noises etc and after checking today all seems spot on!
Today, I gave the car a much needed wash, topped up my Coolant which was non existant!! And my power steering fluid which had fell below the minimum!
I also took some of the plastics out of the bay and painted them up. Just to start the laborious task of tidying up around that god ugly head we have!!
And one of the car as it stands at the minute...
Next things on the list are:
-ik22 spark plugs
-exedy clutch, my current one is shagged
-new discs and pads
-boost and oil gauge
-possibly a blitz Fmic
Cheers for reading!

With the bov fitted:
So ill get these fitted tomorrow morning hopefully and get the SSQV up and running.
Also managed to get two of my four new wheels "finished". There all polished up and ready to fit! I decided I don't have the scrilla to blow on refurbs
I have literally lost skin off my fingers tonight finishing these off!
But here they are in all their glory:
Cheers for reading
They do look awesome though mate.
Thanks stav will be worth the time when I finally get them on.
Today I got the bov on and the breather filter on.
Next things on my immediate to do list are:
New clutch
New discs and pads
Bigger pulley for the charger
Also doing some mods to my exhaust and reintroducing a small silencer back into my straight through mid pipe as I've decided a full straight is great but when off the accelerator at high revs it's got a not so nice noise :/ that should be happening this week
