Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo!
Well got a lil bit done this weekend but freezing out there
Well the manifold and wastegate are now all fitted so the turbo could go on and i could start the plumbing of intercooler
Still got to do the turbo side of the intercooler and remount the left and right impact sensors
Got the 3 lambda sensor bosses welded on the down pipe so fitted them also today
Fitted the plugs onto the gearbox as forgot bout them oops lol
2 x questions what is this pipe for that runs underneath from the engine bay a vacuum for something i think and has what i think is a filter???
Also on the map sensor is there any need to keep the screw end on or can i just take off and plumb straight into vacuum manifold?? the screw end looks too big to be just a vacuum tap off??
Slowly getting there still few bits to do with wiring like the injectors, changing the drive by wire and few greddy wires left
plumb the turboside intercooler
fit oilcooler on the front
fit oil pressure switcg relocator
greddy 3 bar map sensor
fit and plumb vacuum manifold
wire in FCD
fit micro switch to pedal for idle signal
As you can see still a fair bit but got week after next off so ill get alot done then but starting to look the part just need to get is sounding the part pmsl
No particular reason mate there was enough room so went with three 2 are from the normal manifold and 1 is for my air/fuel gauge and then still got my one at the rear

And the pipe is for the carbon canister Eco thing. Unneeded but the ecu will have a fit so leave it for now.
Oh right so just plumb this into my vacuum manifold aswell then cheers mate ur engine is looking good mate!!!! Just want to get mine started then do all the tidy up of bay and wiring after
