Well the cheap turbo was on its last legs i could hear it scraping
I managed to source a new one very cheap but unfortunately its a garrett gt35 want a gt30 but couldnt refuse the price! £150 and the bloke had it checked to see if it was all fineWell that is now being fitted and i have redone my oil drain so its a 12an screw fix now as i noticed it was leaking (could of been contributing to my crank case pressure??)
Also i have tidied alot of my engine loom wiring so that is clear of the rocker cover as it looked a mess, now it runs either side for the injectors and coil packs just waiting on some conduit now to complete!! well i could of done a little more but patience has run out lol
Wrapped my turbo manifold with titanium wrap to try and get rid of some of the heat from my engine bay felt extremely hot to the point you couldnt do anything under the bonnet for at least an hour lol
Not sure but i may sort getting my screamer plumbed back into the exhaust as it does get a bit much all the time lol but undecided
Push start button is in the post so that will get fitted when it arrives also
So basically im picking up my down pipe tomorrow then i can test all my wiring and make sure she starts. Then im doing a boost leak check and seeing if the pressure is gone from my crank case
Fingers crossed ill have the beast back on the road tomorrow!!! ill get some other pics 2moz these are a some i got last week

30-06-2020, 01:00 PM #966Looks good mate! Little tip I discovered the other day. Twist your injectors 180 degrees so the wirings underneath, simple but looks so much better!

Just got to do the wiring conduit now and refit the screamer pipe then complete

01-07-2020, 11:09 AM #968Well got the beast up and running but I can hear air being drawn past my injectors so need to get new seals! Any one know the number for them or where to get some??

Car sounds very nice a few little noises that need sorting but think its my arch liner

02-07-2020, 06:46 AM #970Got the injectors to seal now so all is good, Ive got to now do a boost leak test and replace the 3" V band clamp as the old one is damaged. Also i noticed a little oil and water leak hopefully its the sump and not something serious so investigate them!
Car sounds very nice a few little noises that need sorting but think its my arch liner
