Also ordered my new T4 turbo gasket as mine is blowing!!
Just need to order a new cam cover seal as mine is like plastic its that old and going the get new exhaust manifold gaskets as well may as well while im at it

06-01-2021, 12:25 PM #1,041well the other day i ordered some vacuum take off points that i can drill and tap into the intake manifold so i can get rid of the separate take off manifold i have the ugly bright purpley one lol May help with some of the issues but i doubt it! but will also tidy the bay up a little!

09-01-2021, 12:10 PM #1,047Would of been done tomorrow but they sent 1 of each size lol ordered 2x8mm and 4x6mm aaarrrggghhhh oh and another lot sent me a t3 gasket instead of T4 lmao its going well!!! :mad:

General Engine bay tidy (cables ect)
Well got a few more bits done! all the standard wiring is routed and neat in the engine bay, Power steering cooler pipes removed, Screen wash bottle fitted and few of the standard sensors wired for the cluster to still work, Removed A/C pipes inside and got a disc being made so i can mount the link g4 plug and rivet the plate over existing hole, Intake is at the machine shop having 1mm milled off as the gasket slots were too deep, new starter motor fitted as old one was brittle and snapped also smaller alternator belt fitted to help with clearance against throttle body.
