if no success with finding this "dave" guy it brings me to my other question, if the 1gfe is a 2l 6 would it be benifical to use a rb20's nissans 2l 6 intake and change the base plate so in some way its the same volume as the stock 1g manifold? or it wouldnt matter if i used a 1j/2j manifold i think iv head the 1ggte wont fit different port sizes, but then again could just weld on the right base.
im not thinking of this as a performance mod if it does awesome if not i just really dont like the look of a 40/80 degree angle pipe coming off the throttle body.

This may be a long shot but worth a try, playing on youtube looking at is200 turbos found a vid of a black one on dyno and noticed the intake manifold to be forward facing and made out of the shiny stuff! credits had this site down and owner goes by the name of dave? if your here please can you let me know what you did, custom job/1j manifold with 1g port plate.
