As the title says,
I have seen one or maybe two threads [ cant remember where or which site ] where people have upgraded the stock is200 fuel pump to something like a Walbro.

Ok not to mention it would be a bit of a pita having to run a return line and having to mount a fpr on the fuel rail, what would the stock ecu think to all of this? Surely the ecu controls the original pump voltage aswell as the injectors, if the fuel pressure is set and fixed with a new fpr, will it not throw an error?

Any help really appreciated.

no the pump gets a constant 12v no fancy changes in voltage. The standard fpr is in the tank and set to 50psi.

fitting a return line and fpr shouldnt cause any codes.

Thanks Sparkystav, really good to know. For some reason I thought the voltage varied on demand. Makes life a lot easier easier Smile

Thanks Jay but I should be ok now mate.
