Also weekend just gone i finally fitted my bonnet latches scary stuff when you start hacking at your bonnet.

13-07-2022, 04:24 PM #1,126Well now its time i finally fitted my solid 1G-GTE flywheel order all the bits required so should be able to get done this weekend.
Also weekend just gone i finally fitted my bonnet latches scary stuff when you start hacking at your bonnet.

Been having a weird noise from the gearbox/clutch for a few months so i finally fitted my solid 1ggte flywheel and new clutch and rebuilt. Unfortunately the noise was still there.
This then led me to believe maybe it was my gearbox so Santa got me a one!!! lmao
Just stripped it all down again and doing a few other jobs along the way. Then hit me spigot bearing!!!!!! had a look and low and behold it was knackered!!! So i have ordered a new one and is on its way to me now thanks to MattLaw.
Took sump off as there was a small leak so i can redo that while gearbox is off.
Noticed that the front crank case oil seal is leaking slightly from when i had the crank case pressure so will need to address this!!
Will be fitting my new LSD just wire brushing and painting before i fit that.
Fitting all new ball joints and my LS400 front brakes
TRD short shifter when i pick up from pats .
Also there is a few modifications i shall not be giving away just yet!

02-12-2022, 02:00 PM #1,130You have to get the figs adapters same as the supra brakes mate, and then either shave a little off the bottom of the caliper, or run Rca spacers so you don't hit the steering arm
