I agree, the Mods Pat has done are subtle yet have presence, and only compliment the clean condition of the Lex.
Its not exactly OEM+ but without knowing whats under the bonnet and if you didn't see the FMIC in front it would be considered OEM+. Exactly my taste OEM+ FTW!

Cheers guys still have plenty of ideas going round in my head.
Thinking lately about uping power so looked at a walbro Fuel pump yellow rx8 injectors and then of course the bigger pulley thinking of just going 145mm and see how it is with that for a bit.
But still want side skirts and still need to sort canards with Robin and get the front looking a bit more aggressive or that's the plan anyway

Well I purchased a set of front wind deflectors and fitted them but other than that just as normal keeping it clean and building funds back up to buy more parts for next year's shows

First on the shopping list is x6 vvti 1.8 injectors from an avensis, follow that up with a SS decat manifold and then a set of ik22 denso injectors and of course the 145mm pulley
Hopefully get on and running on this plan in the next few months

10-10-2022, 05:23 AM #1,076I'd actually disagree with the turbo idea, Pat - I reckon with the tools available to you, it's a better idea to swap your supercharger for a much more modern TVS unit. They run much cooler, drain less power and will give you a bit more flow for the same PSI of boost. It probably won't be that hard to get an adapter plate made up to fit the current supercharger frame. I think the efficiency range is greater too, so you won't be losing out and generating lots of heat by massively over-gearing it.

Along side doing that and getting it ready I also managed to buy a trailer for the club, needed alot of work all the wood replacing due to rot and still need to get new tyres and sort the electrics
