My IS-V8-Turbo
My IS-V8-Turbo
I think the dash is one of the most unique features of the IS200, and I wouldn't change it for the world, especially with the stainless dial kit
On another car with a more ordinary dash, then sure, I think those electronic clusters are cool.

£79!! thats a good price.
These Guys will sort your Tacho out:
You want an "ATSD", will convert any Tacho signal from 4, 6, 8, 12 etc to match your factory Tacho unit. I have one on mine (4 to 6 correction) and it works great.

Found this unit but it looks a bit bulky?

UPDATE!!
I got the water pump friday, did not take long to fit, but it was all the work i had to do befor (was a pig of a job) so i could fit it, had to pull the turbo to get to the front of the engine to get all the covers of, and on replaceing the turbo and pipes that go from it to the manifold i had to mod the pipes abit as they was not sitting right, with that done they lined up nice.
I also moved the header tank up about 3" and had the return pipe from the tank running back to the rad, just like it was in the LS400, took it out lastnight for a run round the town, and all seem,s ok, she pulls hard and the kickdown is fun cannot wait till i have the cash to get a boost controller ( im going to get the NEW "Gizzmo" one)
excellent news mate
Excellent news, glad it is coming together, hope it remains that way for you too!
[QUOTE = Marcus_1UZ; 23,372] funny you should point that out mate, thats what i was looking at, as you guys know that have done engine swaps, its very hard to get all the gauge cluster working right, but before i do get one im going to try very hard to get the IS one working right,
I was looking at one and its only £ 79 not bad if you ask me and it comes with all the wires you need. [/ QUOTE]
With this price I would go for it!
Sounds great Marcus, keep us posted on how she is running ! :thumbup1:
Thanks guys, took the car out today with my 2 boys just around town, was out about 25 30mins all is ok, but i have misfire under load! think i may have moved the timeing belt abit when i put it back its not bad but i will have to put it right before the weekend, apart from that she go,s well
