I'm on about the iteration of supercharger, the m62 model has various generations as the technology improves. I'm just checking it's a gen 2 that the kit uses as I think that's the same as the merc charger.

Oh yeah mine is the merc charger which I believe is the gen 2

Wayne if it has the clutch there be wires below and to the rear of the pulley on the front that is what's fitted to merc

That was what I thought, mine has the wires coming out. I heard they can be connected to a switch so you can turn it on and off, this correct?

I personally don't like the switch option

IMO u wouldn't have a turbo then not use it so why do it with a charger.

U either want boost or not but yes to answer your question it can be fitted with a switch lol

I totally agree with you, but the Missus don't like the whine of em. So if I can have the option to switch it off when she starts crying, it'll save me some headaches. Very doubtful I'll connect it up though to be honest.
